I heart Emily Haines.
Can't wait to see her this month. I haven't seen Metric for about two years and I love love love her. One of the songs of the new album is also a possible first wedding dance song. When I get married or course.
Cornwall has talent - the weekend I won the hearts of St Ives folk.
Cornwall was so beautiful. Admittedly the road trip from London took a fair few hours, but it was well worth it. I felt Zenned out to the max. Amazing scenery, amazing restaurants and well...amazing people that had to endure my signing and dancing. Did win a bottle of bubbly because of it but, hush hush, im not bragging.
Hello Kitty for Dr Marten's. Yes Please.
I was told recently that I am suffering from a ‘case of Benjamin Button’. Not only do I seem to appear younger with each birthday (I have been ID’d further than ever, and have more of a baby face then I did when I was 16) but also I cant seem to give up my childhood sweethearts. No, no Jared Leto, the ‘My So Called Life’ dream-boat, but the Sanrio characters - In particular my fanatical love of Hello Kitty. I have been following Sanrio fanatically this year due to its 50th anniversary, trying to collect all anniversary material and such like. You can imagine my joy, when I heard that in July their collaboration with Dr Marten’s will be hitting the stores. The three piece collection is sure to be a sell out….I just hope I get my mitts on them before they are gone.
The whole concept is rad, I love the idea of Hello Kitty crossing over with the grungey punk style of the 80's. I cant quite decide between the black or white pair. I love them both - I just wish they weren't coming out during the summer season. I guess I will just have to team them up with a cute vintage floral dress from Urban Outfitters and these Emmanuelle Khanh sunglasses available at Net-a-porter.
I would give up Saturday night drinking for Sunday morning rides on this.
I have a piggy bank bursting with pennies for a new bicycle (one with a basket of course.) I have my eye on a Nirve Cruiser that is well within budget...then I clapped my eyes on this fine-looking piece of machinery.
Oooh to be riding this around the lush green suburbanises of Harrow to meet my boyfriend with a bottle of Pinot Grigio and deli sandwiches, wrapped in red and white gingham whilst listening to Tariko on my Walkman.
Even this pink vintage beauty is amazing. It inspires me to copy write the brand name and have it personalised onto a pair of chunky gold plated bamboo ‘chavtastic’ hoops.

Err....Someone sack the advertising department
I just saw this poster for 50 Cent's new 'bad ass' movie. I really think the wardrobe department hit the nail on the head. Tilted wooley hat - check. Two massive guns - check. Sleevless bodywarmer - check. Im sure this is going to be a box office smash! Only thing is why does isnt it called 'GUN'S' (their is obviously more than one) and MORE importantly where is poor Val Kilmer. Obviously didnt cut it for this poster Val. Poor show.
